American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her first role was an actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson, reporter. She was also in the role of a supporting character on the short-lived series The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She voiced Jessie Anderson's character on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in The NBC show This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and her moved to California [11] where they stayed for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become attracted to acting, photography as well as singing around the age of 13. When she was 15, she moved with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
