Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing in the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her career in fight sport at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to follow it up, and won a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold award in the year 2011 and the title of 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia has started her career as a professional in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. The WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina last fought against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Shevchenko set her professional MMA record in 2002 at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round TKO followed by 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a hiatus to focus on boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night for this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
